32 – stealing second

Stealing Second¬†was a hit with my geometry kids! We’re not done yet, but we had a great discussion on the mechanics and mathematics of stealing a base. Students also argued whether to steal when the pitcher is left or right-handed. These crazy kids wanted to “act it out.”
